Russia’s Lukoil completes deal to sell Ukrainian fueling stations

MOSCOW, Aug 22 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Lukoil has completed a deal to sell its 240 car fueling stations and six depots in Ukraine to Austria’s AMIC Energy Management GmbH, an official of the Austrian company told PRIME on Monday.

“Clearance has been received from the corresponding antimonopoly body (of Ukraine) on July 1, 2016. Therefore, the deal was closed,” the official said.

An agreement on the sale was signed in April 2015. The companies also agreed on a future sale of the jet fueling business to AMIC Energy then. In April 2016, AMIC Energy had to provide additional information regarding the deal to the Ukrainian antitrust.
